Riot Games was established with the goal of bringing "Gamer's Games" to players all around the globe. Grio worked with Riot on their first game, League of Legends, that has turned out to be an overwhelming success among the WoW and DotA communit. Grio provided the technical expertise to create the Summoner and Statistics systems that are used by the game.

Vera Wang Princess is an interactive retail site for the Vera Wang Princess perfume brand. Grio partnered with the Fluid interactive agency to transform visual design concepts into a fully functional and highly interactive website. The site integrates functionality from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to create a compelling experience.

The MET project provides a means of scoring classroom videos for the purpose of identifying successful teaching strategies. The software will be used in the field by the non-profit Educational Testing Service (ETS), and was funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

The Sears Garage Planner is a web-based application to design your custom garage based on products from the Sears Craftsman catalog. You can choose from pre-planned designs from the gallery, or create your own design using the Virtual Garage Planner. The Garage Planner uses sophisticated visual effects and 3-D rendering. Grio collaborated with the Fluid design team to bring the Garage Application to life.

izmoreader is an eReader with a content and publication management system that integrates with existing pre-publishing applications, to create an online publishing system. Grio designed and developed the entire system from scratch, including the eReader interface, publication management system, and integration with the OpenX advertising system.

The Teachscape Data Collection Tool (DCT) is a graphical teaching aid used by educational professionals to enter data while evaluating a classroom. A user can select a school he/she is evaluating and the application builds a form specific for that school. When complete, the data is synchronized with the Teachscape servers. Grio designed and built the DCT application from the ground up, working closely with Teachscape to define system requirements and ensure a quality product.

GDC Vault is the premium content portal for Game Developers Conference attendees. It offers year-round access to conference recordings and proceedings in slide, audio, and video formats. Grio worked with TechWeb to design and develop all aspects of the system, including user registration and authentication, E-Commerce integration via Modular Merchant, an administrative interface, dynamic website effects, and optimized video rendering.

Techweb Schedule Builder is used by tens of thousands of GDC (Game Developers Conference) attendees, as well as by participants of many smaller conferences. Grio designed and developed a highly scalable system for Techweb that supports thousands of concurrent Schedule Builder users. The system also includes an administrative interface which enables quick and easy customization of the user interface. The Schedule Builder system integrates with several Techweb backend feeds in order to retrieve conference data.

Vook was founded with the vision of uniting the disparate worlds of books and videos into one complete, blended story. Grio developed a digital publishing platform for Vook that enabled all forms of media (audio, video, Flash animation, text) to be integrated and displayed in an elegant online eReader. Backend systems were created to manage the creation and delivery of Vook content.

Fluid: Michelle Phan In Paris Facebook Application

This Facebook application is a interactive scrapbook for Lancome's makeup artist Michelle Phan and her visit to Paris. Facebook users are able to comment on Michelle's status updates, and follow her using an interactive map where Michelle Phan notifies users of her current stops. At the end of the trip, users voted on Michelle's best outfit during her time in Paris.

Tokbox: OpenTok & Website Redesign

OpenTok is a free set of APIs from TokBox that enables websites to weave live, group video communication into their online experience. Grio partnered with Tokbox to help create these APIs, as well as to produce Flash-based widgets that leverage API functionality. Tokbox tapped the Grio team to assist in building out the redesign of the Tokbox website, which provides online video conferencing software that can be integrated into 3rd-party websites. Grio worked closely with the Tokbox web design team to bring their new website vision to life.

Grio and Fluid collaborated to build a customer online configurator that delivers every step of the sneaker creation process instantly. From sole color to eyelets to laces to heel personalization, customers can see sneakers details from every angle and customize accordingly. Grio served as the technology leader for the team that built Reebok's latest shoe configurator and the YourReebok website.
